Katana Dental Lab, PC, was founded by James Rediger, a graduate of UTHSC San Antonio in 1991. His interest and passion for fixed restorative continues to thrive. He is always striving to improve workmanship using excellent materials, aesthetics and functionality is vital. Having had the opportunity to work with a prosthodontist helped James tremendously in his craft.
As a dental technician with many years of experience, his tools set have evolved as technology has changed. James utilizes 3D scanning technology and products that produce a level of consistent, predictable and accurate restorations that were previously unattainable. Quality assurance is controlled by fabricating the restorations in his own lab.
John Cole
LVI Trained Ceramist
John is a Dental Ceramist with over 25 years of experience. He has had extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, including a course at LVI and courses by Dr. Robert Winter and Asami Tanaka. John considers the training he received at LVI under Jurgen Segar as the most helpful and influential in the way he currently practices tooth construction technique.
Learning about golden proportion and attention to detail such as incisal edge anatomy has helped John immensely to be able to please many discriminating clients over the years. In an era where off shore dental laboratories are taking a large share of the crown and bridge market, John believes there is still a niche for the quality and expertise found by offering clients the highest quality restoration to patients.
